When it comes to network marketing, true success depends on where you start. If you are willing to really learn your business, and practice proven industry lead generation techniques, then eventually you will learn how to get a whole lot out of it. But, you only get what you give. Network marketing is a people business, and no matter what your product, you are really selling yourself. You need to put a lot of effort into it and really learn your product/company, and really learn how to market online and offline. If you like to talk to people, then you will likely do very well in any direct sales business.

This type of formal training was not available when I started, we all had to learn as we went. A little formal training in exactly the right places never hurt anyone!
